Showing the player's planets in Galaxy view
« on: 19 June 2011, 17:38:10 »
I was wondering whether it would be easy enough to do the following:

In Galaxy view, if the player hovers with the mouse over the name of a planet's owner, normally a pop-up menu appears, showing that player's ranking, and links to the functions for sending him a message, a buddy request, or to the appropriate page in the Statistics, containing this player. Could the plug-in connect to your Galaxytool account, request the coordinates of all known planets for this player, and display them in that pop-up menu (at the bottom), as clickable coordinates? There is a Russian public database driven by a Greasemonkey script that does something like this...

It is already on our list of accepted ideas - but for the galaxytool-hosting only for the galaxytools for which eX0du5 got a donation.

Otherwise, we would never be able to cover the server costs, because this feature would mean even less clicks in the Galaxytool itself and so less income by advertizing.
