Ideas / Re: Unterstützung für Version 6.0 ?
« on: 15 April 2015, 14:48:43 »
Ich selbst werde frühestens im Mai wieder Zeit haben, hierfür Zeit zu investieren. Das Galaxytool selbst muss (hoffentlich) nicht für 6.0 angepasst werden, sondern nur die Browser-Addons. ;)

Well, now, you need to click on that request in order to see, what the server responds. ;)

Can you take a look, what the server responds when you press onto the validate button? You can also see this in the developer console, when switching to the network tab.

Problems / Re: Galaxytoolbar Firefox startet nicht
« on: 04 November 2013, 16:34:56 »

Problems / OGame 5.6.3 and the Galaxytool
« on: 24 October 2013, 13:55:08 »
Hi,

With OGame 5.6.3, Gameforge changed the structure of all game server domains. Therefore, the Galaxytoolbar will not automatically work on. In order to make it work again, you have to do the following:

Firefox AddOn
  • (optionally) install the latest version of the AddOn: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/galaxytoolbar/versions/
  • go to the AddOn settings and update the OGame URL to match the new URL format, so something like: sxxx-lang.ogame.gameforge.com instead of unixxx-ogame.lang; therefore simply copy and paste any URL of the game, while you are logged on
Chrome/Opera AddOn
  • make sure, you have the latest version of the AddOn (should be updated automatically for Chrome but probably not for Opera)
  • you completely have to re-configure the AddOn, since the settings are saved with the old OGame url as key
OGame API import
This is currently broken, for the hosting solution as well as for self-installed tools.

For the hosting solution, you may follow the steps described here: http://en.wiki.galaxytool.eu/index.php/Galaxytool-Hosting and replace the old URL by the new one. Should have been done once automatically. :)

For self-hosted tools, there is also a simple solution, but you manually have to edit a file on your webserver:
  • Make a backup of the config folder
  • Open the attributes.php in the config folder
  • change the 3rd line, which currently looks like this:
define('OGAME_URL','http://unixxx.ogame.lang');
  • to the new OGame URL format:
define('OGAME_URL','http://sxxx-lang.ogame.gameforge.com');
  • You may check the correct URL format by comparing with your URL while you are logged on
  • After editing, overwrite the file on your webspace with the new one and everything should work again :)
Yours sincerely,
Your Galaxytool team

Problems / Re: Cron jobs?
« on: 12 August 2013, 13:34:14 »
This will be on the downloadable version of the Tool. For the hosting, we will probably offer this for all tools with donations automatically.

For the downloadable package, you only have to call the file refresh.php in the /secret/plugins/OGameAPI folder:

Code: [Select]
http://galaxytool-hosting.eu/galatool_RD/secret/plugins/OGameAPI/refresh.php?token=[token]&type=[type]
where [token] is a valid login token of a user with maintenance permissions and [type] is one of <reload_all, reload_galaxy, reload_stats>

Thanks: I will add them today, so they will be inside the next version 5.1, which will be released soon. :)

EDIT: added and adjusted the first post here.

Problems / Re: Galaxytool plugin on chrome is not working.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I've just uploaded a version, in which I've added ogame.jp as a page, where the extension is executed.

ISt schon so geplant, aber derzeit halt noch nicht umgesetzt. Ein Update der Daten wäre natürlich besser, aber ist eben auch wesentlich aufwändiger zu programmieren. ;)

Sry, but I don't even know, when this issue could arise, so there is probably nothing, you can do it about, except of asking your hosting provider to enable the setting.

You shouldn't change it in the plugin, but in the hosting settings. See here for a How to: http://en.wiki.galaxytool.eu/index.php/Galaxytool-Hosting

P.S. Never mind. Clearing the browser cache (Ctrl-F5) helped. The tool was able to update itself. Thanks for fixing it.

It was probably not the browser cache, but it takes some minutes, until the changes from the configuration panel are propagated to the actual tool. ;)

Besides, this stuff hasn't changed for ages and it used to work perfectly. Something got broken after the "server maintenance".

It was not a simple maintenance, but we now run on a completely new server with much more power. ;)
